Let’s be straight with you. There is no Northwest Registered Agent coupon code.

We know that’s probably not what you were hoping to find. But stick around, because the reason there’s no code is actually good news for you.

Why Northwest Doesn’t Do Coupon Codes

Most LLC formation companies love coupon codes. They’ll show you a big crossed-out price, give you 20% off, and make you feel like you got a deal. What they don’t tell you is that the original price was inflated to make the discount look good.

Northwest doesn’t play that game.

Their pricing is just low. Always. No codes, no expiring promotions, no fake list prices. The $39 you see is what you pay. That’s it.

It’s actually one of the things people like most about them. You don’t have to go hunting for a promo code or wonder if someone else got a better deal. Everyone pays the same thing.

What You Actually Pay

Forming an LLC with Northwest costs $39 plus your state’s filing fee. That’s their fee. The state fee varies depending on where you’re filing.

Here’s where it gets interesting. That $39 includes a free year of registered agent service. Most of their competitors charge $149 to $299 per year for that separately. So when other LLC formation brands says “free LLC formation,” what they really mean is free formation but $199 a year for registered agent service on top of that.

Do the math and Northwest usually comes out ahead even with the $39 upfront.

After the first year, registered agent service renews at $125 per year. You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard.

About Northwest Registered Agent

Northwest has been doing this since 1998. They’re the second largest registered agent company in the country and they work in all 50 states plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.

A few things make them different from everyone else in this space.

They have a Privacy by Default policy. When you form an LLC through Northwest, they put their office address on your public filings instead of yours. That keeps your home address off state records and out of Google. You don’t have to ask for it or pay extra. It just happens.

They don’t have a sales team. Every person you talk to is actually a Corporate Guide who knows LLC and registered agent requirements inside and out. You can call them and get a real answer to a real question. That’s rarer than it should be.

And they don’t sell your data. Ever. A lot of formation services will sell your information to marketing companies the second you sign up. Northwest doesn’t.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Northwest Registered Agent promo code?

No. Northwest doesn’t use promo codes or discount codes. Their $39 formation price is already their best price and it applies to everyone. So there’s no coupon code available, just discounts for specific formation and add-ons. The price is already very low so it’s going to be tough to beat their price even when using a coupon code at a competitor.

Does Northwest Registered Agent offer a discount?

Not in the traditional sense. Their pricing is just low to begin with. The real discount is the free year of registered agent service bundled into the $39 formation fee, which is worth $125 on its own. Many competitors charge anywhere from $99 to $199 for the first year of registered agent services.

How much does Northwest Registered Agent cost after year one?

Registered agent service renews at $125 per year. It auto-renews so set a reminder if you want to review it before it hits.

Does Northwest offer a student discount?

No student discount is listed. Their flat pricing applies to everyone. If they do offer a student discount in the future then we will update this section with that information.

Does Northwest offer a military discount?

No military discount is currently advertised. Some LLC formation companies do offer a veteran waiver to get reduced state fees for certain states, but we can’t find any information on NWRA offering any veteran waivers through their system so you would have to get it from your state. If they do start offering any type of military discount we will update this page.

Does Northwest offer nonprofit pricing?

Nothing is publicly listed for nonprofits. Worth a call to their support team if that applies to you. We will update this section if we find any new information on a nonprofit discount.

Can I cancel Northwest Registered Agent?

Yes. You can cancel through your online dashboard or by calling their support line. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for another year.

Is the $39 price the same in every state?

The Northwest service fee is $39 everywhere. State filing fees are separate and vary. Wyoming is $100. California is $70. Delaware is $90. Your total at checkout will be $39 plus whatever your state charges. Northwest doesn’t dictate or have a discount on the state fee so no matter what service you choose or if you file the LLC yourself you will have to pay the state fee. There are some state’s that offer free LLC formation for veterans, but there aren’t any states that waive the fee otherwise.

Does Northwest Registered Agent have a free trial?

No free trial. But the free first year of registered agent service included with formation is about as close as it gets.
